Tool Tips |
Google trends: Use this tool
to see the trend history of your keyword, along with languages and regions where it's spoken. For major languages, if your term has no trends, chances are it's not very common, or it's a newer term.
SERP: Enter your term within quotes " " to see how popular is the keyword in website usage. The quotes are a must in languages such as Japanese,
Chinese and Greek. When in doubt, use them at all times, and double check without quotes and note the difference. |
Images: Most major S.E.s offer an image search. Use these results
to help you identify your term. |
Wikipedia: A most often overlooked tool. Plug your keyword into wiki
and see what translations it comes up within the various languages. Also a good article resource for mini website development. |
